I believe that Confiance IA can more quickly bring Quebec companies closer to adopting AI by ensuring strong collaboration with agile and innovative startups and SMEs and by giving them a platform to present their creative ideas and technologies. We are proud to collaborate with Thales on the RENARE project, which will help solve technical, explainability and reliability issues for small autonomous and semi-autonomous systems such as drones.

By participating in Confiance IA, EXFO wants to accelerate the development of trustworthy tools to improve the performance, reliability and robustness of its AI solutions. There’s a significant benefit: by sharing a use case within the HUMANITY project with its partner CAE, EXFO is fostering the development of more robust and versatile tools, which will give Quebec's AI ecosystem a boost.

We joined AI Confidence to be part of a movement to develop ethical, sustainable, safe AI that helps improve the world around us. We believe that AI should be used not to replace humans but to help them make decisions. Confiance IA enables us to contribute to this mission by associating us with people who share our values and collaborative style.

The Confiance IA program, based on a roadmap that addresses topics such as safe, resilient, robust, ethical and responsible AI, responds to industrial requirements for accelerated adoption of AI technologies in business operations. Thales has launched two projects with Zetane systems to address the explainability and robustness of AI-based perception models for autonomous vehicles. Within Confiance IA, Thales is working alongside other partners to develop practical tools and methodologies that can be used and adopted by all the consortium's industrial partners.
