France-Quebec relation in Artificial Intelligence

Recently, the Confiance IA team has demonstrated its commitment to strengthening the France-Quebec relationship in Artificial Intelligence. Initially, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Confiance.ai, and then by its presence at the 21st edition of the Alternate Meeting of the Prime Ministers, an event that highlights the importance of the Franco-Québécois political relationship and sets out common orientations and priorities within the framework of bilateral cooperation.

Confiance IA places great importance on the France-Québec relationship. On March 7, during our visit to Paris, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Confiance IA and Confiance.ai to demonstrate the willingness to strengthen cooperation between Québec and France in the field of artificial intelligence. This willingness to work jointly with France is ingrained in our DNA, and we are working hand in hand with our French partners to submit an international project under the Horizon Europe program.

Furthermore, on Friday, April 12, our team was present at Centech for the visit of the Minister of Higher Education of Québec, Pascale Déry, and the Minister of Higher Education and Research of France, Sylvie Retailleau, to discover the Québec research and innovation ecosystem.

A wonderful opportunity for our CEO, Marie-Pierre Habas-Gerard, to present the industrial consortium Confiance IA, our mission, and our activities with France, alongside our partner Thales and the Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace (CRIAQ).
